Preparation and filing of the court forms - $250.00
* Our fees do no include filing fees and publishing
fees: the following prices are for the residents of Los
Angeles County.
- The Court fees are $355 payable to Los Angeles Superior Court (the court fees may vary depending on the County.)
- Additional certified copies of your Name Change Decree - $25 per copy
- The cost of publication is from $95 depending on the newspaper..

Low Income Discounts: At no additional charge, Access Legal will prepare an Application for Waiver of Court Fees and Costs which will save you approximately $355 in filing fees and other related court expenses. Said application must filed simultaneously with the Petition for Change of Name.

Disclaimer: Though the name change sounds like an easy procedure, it may become rather costly. We strongly encourage you to check price with our representatives prior to initiating the Name Change case. Your total price is estimated to be from $700 to $750 depending on the number of certified copies of your Name Change Decree.
No refunds are available from either organization involved in the preparation,
filing, and publication of your Name Change Case. |
